Dr. Fried wants to help victims of war learn to deal with and understand PTSD. Interviews were conducted soldiers, a released hostage and a war photographer. We edited a sizzle reel from the powerful footage which is being used to raise the funding to finish the film.
Our film "If You Tell Anyone" won a Telly Award. Congratulations to my CoProducers Dr. Norman Fried and Nathan Spiteri. We premiered the film to a packed house at The Angelika Theater in Manhattan. The film is making the rounds at the film festivals now. We plan to release it early in 2025.

This is a trailer to short film that Dean Co-Produced, shot, edited and directed. This documentary follows the arc of Nathan Spiteri’s battle with child sexual abuse and ultimate recovery with interviews from trauma specialist Norman Fried, PhD, and insights from Jane Randall, Founder and CEO of The No More Foundation, as well as family member Janica Spiteri. We finished early in January and are just now starting to enter it in film festivals around the world.
This award winning short film is based on the heartwarming true story of Bill Wynne and his Yorkshire terrier, Smoky, the WWII hero dog. Smoky is the first ever care dog. She was found stuck in a Foxhole in New Genea during WWII.

After working for Walter Cronkite in the early 1990's Dean had the Dean had the privilege of reuniting with Walter in 2007 to produce a series of commentaries. After Walter passed in 2009, Dean Executive Produced this tribute to the man who was his mentor.
Dean Love Films produced 50 episodes of this Emmy award winning series for RLTV cable network. He had remote producers in NYC, LA and Columbus, Ohio. It was the first program to air when RLTV signed on and it ran for years on that channel.
In this National Geographic documentary Dean Love and his crew traveled into the deepest and most dangerous landmine territory in Cambodia. They filmed de-mining crews as they removed and detonated landmines around Angkorian temples. The temples had been so covered in landmines that no one had seen them in over 40 years. But when one the temples became safe from landmines, they became targets for looting.
Dean was Producer and Head Writer on the first 13 episodes of "The FBI Files". He also wrote one episode. Season One was Discovery Channel's number one series that year.
Dean Love was the Producer on this show and it won him a national Emmy Award. It was hosted by Jon Lithgow and the Executive Producer was Walter Cronkite.
This documentary is about the discovery of a 3000 year old cave burial in Central Honduras. After climbing through some very tight and difficult spaces we discovered the cave burial of a previously unknown civilization about a mile below the surface. When we photographed the skulls we discovered they glowed in the dark!
Follow scientists as they capture Komodo dragons in Komodo Indonesia. Once captured they take blood tissue and saliva. It was used to determine what was so deadly in their bite. This exciting documentary was produced, directed and written by Dean Love, it aired on Discovery Channel and Animal Planet worldwide.
A 90 MIN. Documentary about the exciting life of Joseph Hayne Rainey, America's first black Congressman. Congressman Rainey was born a slave into a family of slaves in South Carolina. Yet somehow he rose from that horrible beginning to become America's first black congressman. This is an amazing and true story of a man who fought racism and broke boundaries in a time when that was unheard of.
This documentary is story of the showboats that traveled on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. The doc will focus on the stories of two Showboats, the Bryant family showboat and the Majestic showboat owned by the Reynolds family. These families traveled up and down the rivers in their floating theaters, providing comedy and drama to an entertainment starved post Civil War America.
